Introducing the NEW ‘All-Day’ Riding Shirt from Akin – a protective over-shirt designed to be the perfect alternative to a big heavy jacket.
Ride with confidence knowing that you’re covered with a double layer of protective fabric. We’ve combined a 12.5oz Cordura® Stretch Denim outer layer with a 165gsm DuPont™ Kevlar® lining (in the shoulders and arms) to provide a very high level of abrasion resistance.
Need more protection? We’ve designed the All-Day Riding Shirt to be 100% compatible with back, shoulder and elbow armour (sold separately).
Rider comfort is very important to us, so we’ve used COOLMAX® All Season comfort technology in our denim - this patented technology allows the fabric to breath and keeps you warm in Winter and cool in Summer. Pair this with a generous amount of stretch, and you’ve got one of the most comfortable pieces of riding gear on the planet.
Small details make a big difference – The collar buttons down to stop it flapping against your helmet, there’s an internal water-resistant pocket for your valuables, and the sleeves are slightly longer and pre-curved so they are perfect when you’re on the bike. We’ve also used snap buttons on the ‘storm flap’ to make it quick and easy to put on/take off.
The second generation ‘All-Day’ Riding Shirt has been tested all over the world - from hot Australian cities, to the Cabot Trail in Canada, and even sliding around at flat track events. It’s our go-to jacket for all round performance, protection and comfort.
WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?:
The new All-Day Riding Shirt sizing is different to the rest of our products. BEFORE you order, we strongly recommend that you measure a thick shirt/flannel or thin denim jacket that fits the way you want while on your bike. Lay your shirt or jacket flat on a table, and measure the chest, making sure to go from side seam to side seam (near the armpit like in the photo below - It's very important that you go ALL the way to the seam join). Compare your measurement to the table below. If you're in between sizes, and want the fit to resemble our model, then we recommend you go for the smaller size. The material of the All-Day Shirt is VERY stretchy and will loosen after a few rides.
